In 2012, Ken stood trial. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole.
As per the police statement, Ken tried to mislead the case into a suicide attempt. There was a suicide note that reads, “She can’t afford herself and her baby, and this was the only way out.” Also, she had lied to her friends and family about her baby’s father. The name of the father’s child is Chris, whom she met at a bar.
After the investigation and autopsy report, Jennifer was not hung by herself instead, she was killed.
