Paramount Studios bought all the remaining rights. Dr. Beaber serves throughout the film as a commentator on the social-psychological dimensions of the case.

The two men, who were involved in a love triangle with “Katie”, had the screen name ‘talhotblond’ whom both the men never met in person.
