Dierks does not have a boyfriend because he is straight. Instead, on December 17, 2005, he married Cassidy Black, a high school friend.
They met in eighth grade in Arizona. It’s a pretty weird narrative of just going back and forth with the perfect timing or the wrong moment, or right place, wrong time, and all that stuff, as Dierks previously told reporters.
Despite dating in high school, Bentley and Black were soon separated when Bentley relocated to Nashville and Black to San Francisco, California. Dierks, on the other hand, continued to send love notes through FedEx.
Bentley laughs as he says, That’s why I married her I was terrified those letters would be used against me as a kind of blackmail.
